It’s amazing what you can find when you just wonder around Soho and into Washington Square Park in NYC. That’s exactly what we did on April 3rd, 2016 for Angela and Carl’s Engagement Session. They had a few key places they wanted to hit but beyond that we just walked around and chatted. They were so comfortable in front of the camera and if anything I had to reign them in just a bit! There were so many funny faces, laughs, jokes, and at one point a little serenading by Carl during the shoot. We got sooo lucky with weather and although it was chilly they made it look like a warm spring day. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in Beacon, NY in September.
Washington Square Park looks like an amazing place to shoot in New York! I love candid photography and your images are a perfect example of it! I can see why you posted so many pics from this session- there are too many good ones!

I LOVE how you’ve fallen in love with this adorable engaged couple shot in Washington Park, NYC. You’ve captured their tenderness toward each other as well as their quirkiness, which is something I’m sure they will enjoy looking back on long after you’ve shot their wedding.
